Hello, I am Haylee! I am originally from the midwest and I grew up in a small town just north of Green Bay, Wisconsin.  From there, I spent 5 wonderful years in the city of La Crosse,Wisconsin earning my Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Exercise and Sports Science with concentrations in Pre-Physical Therapy, Nutrition and Psychology.  While in college, I went on a spring break trip to Panama City Beach in 2012 where I met the love of my life and now husband, Anson.  He is military and lived in Colorado at the time, so we spent 3 years in a long distance relationship. After college graduation, I moved to Florida where he had just been re-stationed, and from there I got my master's degree in Health Administration.

Fast forward several years, we now have a new home in the central coast of California. We have become avid travelers and honestly travel is a huge staple part of our lives.  Having started our relationship under the premise of having to travel to see each other, we became really good at it, really fast.

As you will learn from my feed, I am a very adventurous individual.  I have a self-diagnosed type T personality, meaning I'm a natural thrill-seeker, who craves variety, novelty, intensity, and risk.  Whether I achieve this through continuous travel to new places/countries, or by turning a "relaxing" Sunday into a scuba diving or hiking adventure, I am always looking to make the most of my life and try new things.  

 

At 28, I have been to nearly all of the continental states and have traveled to 24 countries and counting.  As a result, I have adapted a huge passion for seeing the world we live in, and encouraging others to do the same.  Which is why I created "LLJL Escapes", as I am skilled at finding deals and getting people to disregard their apprehensions that naturally come with travelling.

Aside from jetsetting, I am quite possibly the biggest Green Bay Packer fan you'll ever meet.  My family has had season tickets since I was 10 years old, so I grew up with Lambeau Field as my second home.  I even named my dogs Lambeau and Lombardi (Bardi).

I have an immense compassion for our environment and animals, I like to run, plant succulents, decorate, host and go wine tasting. I also am a huge foodie, lover of Gwen Stefani and hip hop (yes, I know those don't go together) and I love going to musicals.  I've always been an open book and love to share my life with others, and love gaining new friends all the same.  So please reach out to me at any time, and I hope to connect with you in this beautiful world of ours.
