Who better to plan your trip than someone who has actually traveled the world themselves, books and plans their own trips, and knows exactly what works and what doesn't? It's time to ditch the travel agencies, aka: the companies that employ a middle man to work for you and more often than not, really do not know how to plan an authentic experience.

I am in love with traveling. And I mean that to my core. It has grown to be such a staple part of my life and who I am.  I love using my expertise to empower others to travel as well, and to take that leap to start crossing off some of their bucket list experiences.  The packages and itineraries I put together reflect a perfect balance of luxury, culture and adventure travel so that you can make the absolute most of your experience abroad (or in your home country)!

When I plan a trip for myself, I put in hours of research to really know and understand how to make the most out of my experience in a new place.  When I'm curating your trip, I will do the same for you. I wouldn't have you do anything I wouldn't do myself!  I know how to find the best restaurants, the tips and tricks for avoiding crowds, visiting the must-see spots while also ensuring you have everything you need for your perfect vacation without any worries.  I am also highly skilled at finding the best rates for everything, from flights, hotels/Airbnbs, exercusions, etc.  People are always shocked when they find out how LITTLE I spend on my vacations, given the beautiful places we stay and how many amazing things we get to do!

Don't think of me as a travel agent, but rather a party planner... for your epic bucket list experiences.  I basically eliminate the middle man for you.  Working with me means you'll have your own personal travel guru to handle the hard stuff, while you get to do the important stuff... seeing our beautiful world.

Reasons to use me over a travel agency:

Not to be boastful, but point blank: I am better than them.  Travel agencies are for- profit companies that make commission off of selling you trips.  Travel agencies are also very limited in what they could all be offering you.  They are partnered with different brands and companies, meaning they can and will only market those airlines, hotels, and tour companies to you.  Therefore, you are not getting an all-inclusive look at your options when you choose to travel somewhere.  For example, Airbnb's are a huge part of the travel industry nowadays, and not one single travel agency works with Airbnb. Why? Because they don't make commission off of booking you an Airbnb listing.

Travel agencies also over charge and upsell you for everything, and it's typically not for a quality experience.  Most individuals that work for these companies spend their holidays on Caribbean cruises and all-inclusive resorts because this is what's highly promoted by travel agencies, and while that is lovely once in awhile, those types of trips tend to lack the culture and adventure that really brings out the beauty of travel.

Reasons I'm cheaper than a travel agency:

One time I had to use a travel agent because I had a $200 flight voucher which could only be redeemed by booking through an agent. I had already done my flight research and found a deal on the flight I wanted to book. When I spoke with my agent, they offered me a list of far more expensive and worse flights (not intentionally trying to scam me I don't think, they just simply did not put in the time and research to find the best deals, but rather just used their simple search engine to pull up flights). I had to literally walk the agent through step by step on how to find the flight I was talking about so that I could book the flight that I wanted. And I had to pay them $50 for the work that I did. 

In Thailand, we booked a day tour.  After speaking with several individuals on the tour with us, we discovered that everyone had paid $120 per person for the tour as they found it advertised on third party travel sites (which are essentially the same as a travel agency), meaning a lot of the money they paid went toward somebody's commission. When I went to book this tour, I had done a lot of research to find the direct Thai company putting on the tour, and I paid $40 per person for the day, which was $80 less than everyone else. I saved us $160 simply because I do the work to find the deals.
